DEAD LENGTH A2-5” 16C PNEUMATIC COLLET BLOCK
- Pneumatic Operation.
- Accepts all standard 16C round, hexagon, square, & special shaped collets & step chucks.
- Precision length control.
- Spindle moves, collet is stationary.
- The collet block is pneumatically actuated with a manually operated control valve.
- The A2-5” spindle accepts closers for step chuck work up to 6” diameter.
- Adjustable stop assembly is required.
- Mounts directly to t-slots.
- Spring to open – pressure to close.
5C PNEUMATIC COLLET BLOCK
- 5C threaded nose spindle for fail-safe machining.
- The air operated 5C collet block accepts 5C collets, dead length collets, step chucks, internal Suregrip collets, and manual chucks with thread into the spindle nose.
- Air is only required for set-up, & a unique spring design holds the workpiece securely. This fail safe method means in the event of the air supply being cut off, the workpiece is still held securely.
- The base design is open, so coolant & chips can be blown out, rather than dis-mantling the unit.
5C PNEUMATIC COLLET BLOCK
- Top View.
- 5.000” (127.00mm) Square Base.
- 4 off 0.531” thru hole for 1/2-13 bolts, on 4.000” (101,60mm) centres.
- Front View.
- Recommended operating pressure 75psi/5.1 bar.
- Drawtube force 1760lbs (7829N).
- Bottom View.
- 5/8” or 18mm diameter locating pins can be supplied for mounting collet block onto faceplate.
- Tapped holes for customer designed locating pins.
